I’m so glad I came across Katie’s instagram! I booked a haircut with her and my appointment was this week. Katie is kind, incredibly knowledgeable, a great teacher, and funny. :) I can’t believe how different my hair looked after she got done with it! But most importantly, I am thankful for the support and encouragement to take better care of my hair and to style it on my own. 10/10 would recommend her to anyone looking for a great cut and personalized styling instruction!

Katie is a diamond in Gem City. Her knowledge of hair runs deep as her passion for her craft. I forever thought I was a straight hair girly, when in fact, (with Katie’s skills) I had natural curl. Highly recommend Katie for your next hair cut/style.

Katie took the time to not only know my curls, but to know me as well. The salon is gorgeous, but Katie is a VIBE. I'd had a not so great experience for the last 2 years with my previous stylist and Katie really showed me how it should have been. She really listened and took in my concerns and what little knowledge I had. She's earned a lifelong client!

Thank you Katie for helping me love my curls! They have been the bane of my existence for decades and I could never create the look I was hoping for & have ultimately hidden them. With products, I've tried it all, and with stylists, I've not seen many because it's such a challenge to find one that can be trusted with ultra fine curly/wavy hair. Not only is Katie extremely skilled at cutting and styling curly hair, she also takes the time to understand what her clients are looking for in managing their own curls and how they want to take care of them at home. She makes sure to listen and connect and teach, which is a game changer for curly girls who feel like they have tried everything to make their hair look great but have fallen flat in the past. And to go beyond all the skill and knowledge she shares, she is also so charming and cute and fun and spending time in her chair will leave you feeling relaxed, optimistic and just plain happy (and your curls will look great, too!) After a cut with past stylists, even those who say they specialize in curls, I couldn't wait till the next day to wash and restyle my hair on my own. Katie is the first stylist I have EVER had who actually makes my curls look better than I can make them look. If you have curly hair, go see Katie!

Katie is amazing. Her ability to transform a hair appointment into an incredible experience is bar none! When I first started to see Katie, I had tired, frizzy, heat-damaged curls that I had no idea how to manage. Katie took her time asking me lots of questions, chatting through my hair care, my lifestyle, she even asked questions about my job and factored that in to how I care for and style my hair on a daily basis.She’s amazing at pampering and teaching at the same time, I learned so many ways to improve and protect my curls. As far as hair color goes, I’ve never left the hair salon feeling so happy and so confident. Again, lots of questions to understand the vision, and then she went straight to work making it a reality. She gave me a warm, bright golden blonde and perfectly styled natural curls that were exactly what I had pictured and hoped for. The last thing I’ll say is that before seeing Katie, my biggest hesitation with getting a “curly cut” was versatility. It’s been a non issue. I threw my straightener out after my second appointment with her. I just never felt the need to touch it again; but I still like a sleek blowout once in a while. When I do, there are no choppy layers or patchy spots in the color. Katie ensures you’ll feel your best whether you’re rocking natural tousled curls or sleek smooth waves. Her skill is impeccable.

Katie and her work are absolutely fabulous! I’ve seen her a couple of times now, and she truly is so talented at what she does. She’s incredibly meticulous and takes such great care with every detail. On top of that, she’s a wonderful person and so easy to talk to. This is my first time seeing someone to manage my curly hair, I have never found a stylist that could get my hair just right or show me the items i need to manage it. Katie was the first to bring out my curls in a way i have never seen them before! She was very informative and thorough. As far as I am concerned I will forever go back to her!! The shop she is at it also beautiful! So glad I found her!!
